The four of us took a drive around the city tonight to check out all of the colors of Christmas ...

Ben and Alycat really loved to see all of the roof top Santa's, Snowmen, Reindeer and Merry Christmas messages .....

What a fun way to spend the evening !

( and I wonder how many sleeps until baby referrals ??)

Oh dear, it's been awhile ......

Well .....the Christmas tree is up, the halls are all decked and the flu is still here with us ! UGH !

The last standing member of our family ( ie: Ben) ended up on his back today and is handling this bug like a little tropper !

Here are a few pics over the last few days .....you will notice that JP was not part of it as he was usually running for Tylenol, freezies and immodium .....(only to need it a few days later ).

Santa ....if you are reading this ......all I want for Christmas is a healthy family this year ....lol

I remember hanging this ornament last year on our tree ........wishing that time would slip by so we could hold our daughter in our arms ....

and now, 1 year later, it feels like she never has been out of our arms or our lives .....:)

The flu has hit our house (I'll spare you the details) so I'll add some pics that were taken over the past few weeks .....
Here are some pics of the kids with Grammy and Papa decorating their tree last weekend!
It was a special project .....and loads of fun.
We'll get ours up hopefully tomorrow !

What a cheezie grin, huh ??
This little girl cracks me up. She has been jumping into her momma's shoes these days and clomping around the house ....
Like a big girl !
She's a whopping 23 pounds and size 18 months....
That's a 7 pound gain in less than a year :)
(Trust me, it's not from her mother's great cooking either!)

We had our first Christmas party of the season last evening and it was lots of fun.

Good friends, family and fine food.

It even included cheezies ( Alycat's fav) and all of the trimmings for icecream sundaes ( Bugsy's fav).

What a great way to kick off the season of celebration ( which by the way, is MY fav).

Hope all is well, especially for those waiting families.

I hope your Christmas present is on it's way from China very soon :)
