On a different note, we celebrated our annual pig roast with our family and friends on the weekend. I think there was at least 70-80 people here.

It was such a fun time, music, laughter and great food! We celebrated into the night .....( under an almost full autumn moon).

Can't wait til next year to do it all over again .....

Has it only been a week since school resumed ?

Man, summer went fast.

We're back to the grind ( Ben in school and Alycat back in daycare).

The kids have settled in nicely ....and homework has begun ....much to Bugsy's delight ..lol

Wow .....tomorrow is the big day.

Grade 3 .....

Summer holidays have "left the building"......

Busy, busy , busy weekend ....

We did leave some time for fun though !

After ironing school clothes, labeling and jamming about 50 pounds of school supplies into Ben's book bag ( I swear he'll pull a back muscle if I don't help him tomorrow), we sat down with some special friends and devoured some yummy in the tummy chocolate fondue.

What a great way to celebrate going back to school!!
