PEEK BOO

I went on a date with my little man this week and we decided to go and play in some paint.

Here is my little Picasso hard at work ( JP if you are reading this post close your eyes :) cause he's working on your Christmas present).

After our excursion, Ben and I headed off to lunch (topped off with a sundae). It was fun and simply terriifc to spend some one on one with my guy !

Adventures In The Forest ....

Our family headed into the forest today to scout out the perfect Christmas tree ....well, actually it was a tree farm on the outskirts of town ......but it was an adventure, just the same ......

Wow ....it's been awhile .....

Oh yeah, and my best friend and I hit the malls this weekend and did a wee bit of shopping ....

Hanging Out With My Number One Brother .....

Alyana loves her big brother and lately she especially enjoys spending time with him while he colors and she "reads".

He tolerates it most days ...lol

A year ago tomorrow our lives changed forever.

We finally became a family of four and a whirlwind of activities carried us through the remainder of the month, into the Christmas season and then onto a airplane in the New Year that carried us to China and into the life of this lovely , bright, and beautiful little girl.

It was the without doubt one of the highlights of my life ( aside from Ben ).

Alycat is a happy, healthy little girl who touches everyone she meets.

How did China know that she would be our perfect match ???

It had to be fate .......
